There had been concerns that the valuable card could be in doubt with Clerk Of The Course Chris Stickels out on the track for a lengthy period of time as he inspected the conditions.
However, racing was given the go-ahead by the officials although three obstacles on the chase course will be bypassed and all of the bends on the hurdles track have been re-aligned.
Interviewed on At The Races Stickels said: "There's a bit of water lying in the landing and take-offs and we're just a bit uncomfortable about it.
"We're going to omit the first fence in the three mile, the open ditch coming down the hill and the first fence after the three mile one start.
"It's going to be very testing, we've moved every single bend on the hurdle course since yesterday, we've moved the chase bend turning into the straight and the chase bend coming out of the straight so a lot of rails have been moved and it's going to be very testing out there."
