The major aim will be to get a Group One race on the board after the Niarchos family-owned colt went close when runner-up to Camelot at Epsom.
Trainer David Lanigan said: "It would be nice to make him a Group One winner. Hopefully he'll be a nice horse to campaign and we could go overseas with him - a mile and a half is probably his best trip.
"He'll have an entry in the Dubai Sheema Classic at Meydan. We'll see how gets on over the winter first."
Races such as the John Porter Stakes at Newbury in April and the Yorkshire Cup at York in May are possible early-season targets for stablemate Biographer.
The three-year-old Montjeu colt ended the campaign with a good win over Sir Graham Wade in a Listed race at Ascot in October to give Lanigan plenty of hope for next term.
"He's a horse I'm really looking forward to next year," said the Lambourn handler. He had a very progressive year and is lightly raced. I don't think we've seen him at his best because he's never had decent ground.
"Depending on how he got on in say the John Porter, he could go for the Yorkshire Cup after that.
"There's also the American St Leger in Arlington later on over one mile six - he's got a lot of options. If he went the right way, that would be a nice race to go for."
