Colin Tizzard's charge came from well off the pace on his chasing debut, when scoring at Exeter earlier this month. The five-year-old may appreciate stiffer tests of stamina in time, but the long straight of Newbury will suit the bottom weight.
Still relatively unexposed at this trip, and this will be the geldings second run in a handicap. Has to overcome a long lay off here, but maybe able to do just that if Martin Keighley has got him spot on.
A decent renewal of this Grade Two event, and it's possible to make a case for all six runners. The likely jolly has been the one for money though, and he looked more than useful in this grade last time out.
Money in the bumper is for well-related Be Marvellous, who is the mount of Joe Tizzard. The yard do well with these types and usually save their better ones for the Berkshire track.
