Fontwell abandoned
Wednesday's meeting at Fontwell has been abandoned due to a waterlogged track.

Clerk of the course Ed Arkell had planned a 3pm inspection for Monday but a reported 20 millimetres of rain in the last 24 hours has taken its toll.

Arkell said: "We've made an early decision as there is no point delaying the inevitable. We now have standing water and it's pouring with rain.
"We've had 81 millimetres of rain since last Wednesday and that's a metre since April.
"Our next meeting is on December 11, so hopefully things improve between now and then."
