The five year old had travelled to Australia last month for last week's Emirtates Melbourne Cup but missed the cut for the nation's showpiece contest.
Connections, therefore, re-routed the son of Danehill Dancer to this Group Three handicap over a mile and five furlongs.
Partnered by Kerrin McEvoy, the entire was held-up towards the rear of the field before finishing strongly into fifth without ever threatening to be involved in the shake-up.
Saeed bin Suroor commented on www.godolphin.com: "Lost In The Moment probably needs two miles to show his best. He ran well enough today over 13 furlongs. There are no plans for him at the moment."
The race was won by the Glenn Boss ridden favourite Puissance De Lune.
There was success for both McEvoy and Sheikh Mohammed earlier on the card when the former partnered Mental to victory for Peter Snowden in the Group One Patinack Farm Stakes in the famous maroon and white silks.
The day's other Group One contest, the Emirates Stakes, saw favourite backers narrowly denied when Damien Oliver got Happy Trails home by a short-head and the same from Fawkner.
