It's been a promising start to Royal Ascot with Parbold, Supplicant and Ladys First finishing second in the Coventry, Windsor Castle and Duke of Cambridge respectively. It's frustrating as I thought Supplicant and Ladys First were both set to win at one stage or another.
It's encouraging for the rest of the year though as Parbold and Supplicant aren't miles clear of the rest of the two-year-olds back home. We've a good bunch this year and still have plenty to run.
Garswood finished fourth in the Jersey. It was good to see him run much better than in the Guineas but the ground was probably a touch too quick for him.
Sandiva is a filly we love and she looks to have a big chance in the Albany Stakes. She'd never work with the colts and it's a little different because as opposed to them as she's a long way clear of our other fillies. I just hope she's a long way clear of the bunch we run against.
She has a new owner which brings added pressure and I want to do well for them. Frankie Dettori rides her and we've had a lot of luck with him over the years. He rode one of the best races I've ever seen to win on Anna Pavlova in France. He's ridden three or four other winners for us, is a jockey I've an awful lot of admiration for, and I'm delighted the owners wanted him on board here.

Finally Baccarat runs in the Buckingham Palace Stakes.
It's a bit of a lottery job but he's a horse we've kept for this meeting. Hopefully the patience of the owners will pay off and he will run a very big race. He's also in the Wokingham on Saturday but I don't think he'll get in that. I'm really looking forward to running him.
