Kieren Fallon: Backed to be among the winners at Hamilton

Carlisle

3.40 Great Wave - 11/4 from 7/2

Yard going well and looks in peak form right now too.

4.15 King Crimson - 3/1 from 11/2

No luck at Chester two starts ago but off the mark at Bath last time and on feasible mark.

4.50 Party Royal - 13/2 from 10/1

Slipped back to a winning mark and might get the run of this from the front.

Hamilton

2.10 Anastazia  - 7/2 from 11/2

Kieren Fallon’s mount is all the rage and does look potentially well handicapped

2.40 Hanalei Bay - 3/1 from 9/2

Won here two starts ago and no reason to suspect he won’t go well again.

5.00 Baron Run - 7/1  from 10/1

Already won three times over course and distance and soft ground holds no fears.

Goodwood

2.55 Soviet Courage - 8/13 from 5/6

Improved form last time and this looks to be his surface.

4.40 Statutory - 9/4 from 7/2

Ran well at York last time and should do so again.

5.40 Last Minute Lisa - 5/2 from 4/1

Richard Hughes takes the ride and Sylvester Kirk’s charge has a lot in her favour.

Kempton

5.50 Lola Montez - 2/1 from 4/1

Didn’t seem to stay last time and drop in trip very much in favour. Still unexposed.

7.20 Swordbearer  - 2/1 from 11/4

Second in a handicap last time and looks big player back in maiden company.

8.20 Gone With The Wind - 7/2 from 6/1

Looked promising in the spring and money suggests he’s straight after a break.

Boosts

3:05 Carlisle – Waffle

3:15 Hamilton – Quest of Colour

4:40 Goodwood – Statutory

7:20 Kempton – Holiday Magic

Trader’s Tip

Secret Hint   5.10 Goodwood

Andrew Balding’s string are in decent form and Secret Hint can continue his good run.  She pulled too hard to do herself justice latest in a decent race at this track and dropping back in trip looks the right way to go.  She was successful over 6f in a Doncaster maiden beating Marmoom, who has franked the form twice since, so a mark of 80 looks fair and she looks progressive in a race full of exposed campaigners.
