Farraaj: Backed to win at York again

2:05- Faraaj- 11/8 from 7/4

Well backed to add to his John Smith's Cup success at the track.

2:40- Connecticut- 9/2 from 13/2

Won last three and yard having great week at the meeting. Looks very promising.

3:15- Fendale- 8/1 from 10/1

Up in class but lot to like about his two wins to date and likely to appreciate step up in trip.

3:50- Sir Walter Scott- 12/1 from 16/1

Stablemate of Connecticut, in very shrewd hands, and fascinating contender given unexposed profile.

4:25- Moonraker- 3/1 from 4/1

Too free in the Richmond Stakes last time and drop in trip here should suit.

5:00- Raskova- 7/1 from 11/1

Second here last time and Frankie Dettori's mount attracting each-way support,

5:35- Skyes The Limit- 12/1 from 16/1

Richard Fahey's charge was back to form on last start and remains feasilby handicapped.

2:10- Henley- 100/30 from 4/1

Beaten at 4/11 on different ground last time but big player here on previous efforts.

3:20- Debdebdeb- 7/2 from 11/2

Caught the eye at Ascot last time and return to winning ways may not be far away.

3:55- Intrinsic- 3/1 from 5/1

32 Red Cup winner at Glorious Goodwood and just the type to make impact at pattern level.

2:55- Redvers- 14/1 from 20/1

Steadily progessive this season and now back to his last winning mark.

4:05- Flashy Diva- 5/1 from 8/1

In-form yard won this last year and this daughter of Showcasing looks progressive.

Traders Tip

4.25 York- Moonraker

Mick Channon’s youngster appears to hold a sound chance of getting back on target here and after a victory on his debut beating Mubtaghaa the winner of the big sales race here on Wednesday he ran in the Group 2 Richmond stakes won by the very impressive Ivawood . He only went off only a 7/1 chance in that event but after taking a keen hold he could find no extra a furlong out and weakened to be beaten 6l.  Dropping back to a strongly run 5f will suit and Ryan Moore keeps the ride and a drop to listed class can see him hit the target.
