Mick Halford’s runner may be without a win since January, but he’s proven himself better on the all-weather in the past and, having dropped down the weights after a mixed turf campaign, he returns to his favoured surface from what looks a very handy mark.
All 3 of his career wins have come at the track and 7f/1m are his optimum conditions. The excellent Shane Foley takes over from a claimer and all things point to a big run from a good draw.
