Trader Tip

4.00 Musselburgh- Jonny Delta

Alex My Boy should be hard to beat if on form but he did show a quirk or two in the early stages of his run at Royal Ascot so he isn’t bombproof at a shade of odds-on and an each-way chance is taken at 16/1 on Jonny Delta. Twice a course winner he is on a mark of 80 which should be within his capabilities to win off as he was successful off 79 here in April. A hold-up performer who likes a decent pace it looks as though connections may have thrown in a no hoper in the shape of Inniscastle Boy who is over two stone out of the handicap. He races over trips much shorter than this and looks to ahve been entered to ensure a decent gallop for Jonny Delta and if in top form he should outrun his odds.
