Tuesday's Market Movers:
Decent second behind a smart rival last time and clearly in good form but doesn't win too often.
Trainer reportedly hopeful that stands' side draw could make the difference to this one.
Trainer does well with similar steady improvers and may well have more to offer this evening.
Backed off the boards to make easing mark pay off, but has let backers when gambled in similar fashion previously.
In good heart at present and this could be a little easier than his latest task.
Went well for this rider last time out and clearly ready to strike again soon.
Far from disgraced against experienced opposition at the weekend and should be more at home in this grade.
Today's Price Boosts:
In today’s staying contest at Beverley, Waterclock appears to have been strangely overlooked by the market. Jedd O’Keeffe's gelding has dropped down to a mark of 85 which is 3lb lower than his second in last year’s Cesarewitch. Yes, in three runs this year he has shown nothing, however they were in the hottest staying handicaps around (Royal Ascot, Chester Cup and Northumberland Plate).
To aid his chances on this drop in class the blinkers are being applied for the first time which could spark a return to form. With conditions in his favour he is sure to outrun his rewarding odds of 18/1 currently available.
