Toronado tops Queen Anne entry
Richard Hannon's Toronado tops thirteen six-day entries for the Group One Queen Anne Stakes at Royal Ascot next Tuesday.
The four-year-old hasn't been seen since finishing last in the Juddmonte International at York last August, but the Sussex Stakes winner's return is eagerly anticipated now he reverts to a mile.
Stablemates Olympic Glory, Sky Lantern and Producer are also entered with the former on a recovery mission following his defeat behind Cirrus des Aigles in the Prix d'Ispahan last time.
Sky Lantern is also hoping to bounce back to form after she finished last on her final start in 2013 in the Hong Kong Mile.
Heading the opposition to the Hannon-trained quartet are the Adian O'Brien pair Verrazano and Magician.
Freddie Head's Anodin is the sole French raider, while Soft Falling Rain could represent South African handler Mike de Kock.
Andrew Balding could be doubly-represented by Side Glance and Tullius, Kevin Ryan's 2013 2000 Guineas runner-up Glory Awaits is in there and Jane Chapple-Hyam's Mull Of Killough could also run.
The other entry is Sabrina Harty's Ansgar.
