Hydrogen opposed by punters

Sky Bet's Michael Shinners brings us the news from the racing traders and hotly-touted Hydrogen is being taken on today.

William Haggas: Trainer of the well-backed Daydreamer

Market Moves:

3:05 Newmarket - Wonderstruck 11/4 to 15/8

Shaped with promise on Ascot debut and all the rage in against much hyped Hydrogen.

5:25 Newmarket - Tilstarr 2/1 to 13/8

Ran well on this ground last time and holds obvious chance.

3:50 Newcastle - Moidore 8/1 to 9/2

Dropped down to a handy mark and John Quinn’s charge will handle the underfoot conditions.

8:35 Haydock - Youre Fired 3/1 to 7/4

Shaped well on recent return to action and big player if any improvement.

9:05 Haydock - Daydreamer 13/2 to 7/2

Shown little in three starts for William Haggas but much better expected up in trip on handicap debut.

Price Boosts:

3.05 Newmarket - Hydrogen

3.30 Brighton - Cape Arrow

6.05 Newcastle -  Harrogate Fair

6.20 Stratford - Rum And Butter

6.30 Haydock - Polar Forest

7.40 Catterick - Next Door

7.45 Tramore - Steps To Freedom

7.55 Down Royal - Pirita

8.25 Stratford - Paint The Clouds

Traders' Tip:

Cavalieri (8.45 Catterick)

Held up too far back in a steadily run race last time he wasn’t able to compete but didn’t have a hard race due to the circumstances. It’s much better to concentrate on his previous effort here when impressively beating Al Furat back at this trip off only a 4lb lower mark. With the likely stronger pace this time and on ground that shouldn’t be a problem, this lightly-raced gelding should go close today for his in-form trainer.
