Market Movers

Windsor 4.10 - Piazon 5/2 from 9/2

Met trouble on latest run in York and punters clearly prepared to forgive that run; stable hitting form too.

Windsor 5.10 - Pernica 7/2 from 7/1

Big winner for the stable at Haydock on Saturday and headgear evidently expected to help this one.

Carlisle 3.15 - Johnno 7/1 from 12/1

Shown little in a couple of starts this season, but well-treated on previous best runs.

Carlisle 5.20 - Staffhoss 4/1 from 8/1

Attracted a bit of cash previously, but hasn't sparkled yet. Horse is owned by syndicate of stable staff at his yard.

Leicester 4.25 - Janes Memory 4/1 from 12/1

Yard not well known for first-time-out two-year-old winners, but market speaking in her favour.

Cartmel 4.30 - Son Of Flicka 6/1 from 9/1

Stamina unproven for this kind of marathon trip, but undoubtedly has a touch of class on his day.

Redcar 4.15 - Silvery Moon 11/2 from 14/1

Good seventh in the Lincoln first time out this season (form working out well) and not without claims here.

Price Boosts

Leicester 4.25 – Rocking the Boat

Carlisle 3.50 – Top Dollar

Windsor 3.35 – High On Life

Cartmel 2.20 – Never Never

Redcar 4.45 – Naggers

Ballinrobe 9.00 – Fort Smith

Traders' Tip

4.30 Cartmel - Pentiffic

Venetia Williams doesn’t send many up to Cartmel (one winner from just two runners since 2009) from her Herefordshire base and Pentiffic looks a most interesting runner for her in the fairly valuable staying handicap on the card.

His recent third to Universal Soldier at Cheltenham was undoubtedly a step in the right direction and it also proved that he has the stamina for these extreme tests. A mark of 123 looks on the lenient side judged on his old form and, with Aidan Coleman taking over from an amateur, a bold showing is expected this afternoon.
