Landed this race 12 months ago and he's 3lb lower in the weights now. Ended last term on a low note with some really disappointing efforts but the booking of Kieren Fallon suggests he's been primed for another crack at this prize.
Always held in pretty high regard in his younger days and although he had a few trainers, it's very interesting to see him now in the care of Nicky Henderson. Potentially well handicapped on the pick of his form and he's been well backed to deliver despite the burden of top weight.
Showed precious little after a slow start on her racecourse debut at Yarmouth in October but entitled to have improved over the winter months and the yard has been going well this week,
This looks a very tricky race but we've seen good each-way support for this filly, who won under Paul Hanagan at Pontefract in October. Could still have more to offer after just eight career starts.

John Quinn’s useful dual-purpose performer marked himself out as a handicapper to keep on side when a never-nearer third to Surprise Vendor at Pontefract on his seasonal reappearance, finishing really strongly from way off the pace and having no chance with the enterprisingly-ridden winner. The manner in which he shaped that day combined with the level he reached over hurdles suggests to us that he looks very well in off a mark of just 75 and 9/2 looks a very fair price about him making amends this afternoon.
