Captain Cat misses Lincoln
Captain Cat, one of the market leaders in the William Hill Lincoln, will miss the race because of the soft ground at Doncaster.
The going has been Good on Town Moor for much of the week but 10mm of rain on Thursday followed by 7mm more before 8am on Friday has changed the going to 'Soft'.
And Captain Cat's trainer Roger Charlton tweeted: "Captain Cat is now a definite non runner in the Lincoln tomorrow after 18 mm of rain the ground is now soft."
Richard Fahey's Garbrials Kaka could now be favourite for the race after jostling with Captain Cat for that position for much of the week.
Bronze Angel and Norse Blues are also non-runners.
