The former will carry 11st 10lb in the Aintree marathon but heads to the race in great form having finished second to Last Instalment in the Hennessy Gold Cup at Leopardstown on Sunday. He's seven pounds well in too, racing off a mark of 161 in the National.
Teaforthree finished third in the race last season and tops Timeform's weight-adjusted ratings for the great race at this early stage.
Sky Bet make Tidal Bay 14/1 (from 16s) and Teaforthree 16/1 from 20/1, spokesman Michael Shinners saying: "There's no doubt punters believe Tidal Bay has been given a huge chance by Phil Smith. The stats may be against Paul Nicholls' stable stalwart but he's a remarkable horse and would be a hugely popular winner.
"Teaforthree ran a brave race to finish third last season and his campaign has been geared around Aintree again while there's money around too for Prince De Beauchene who is 25/1 now he's been allotted 10st 10lb."
