The possible runners for the Festive feature are headed by the first four home in the Betfair Chase at Haydock - Cue Card, Dynaste, Silviniaco Conti and Long Run - who are set to reprise their Grade One clash at the Sunbury-on-Thames venue.
Paul Nicholls, who trains Silviniaco Conti, has a strong second string to his bow in Al Ferof, an easy winner of the Amlin 1965 Chase at Ascot on his seasonal reappearance.
There are also collateral formlines to be drawn from the Betfred Peterborough Chase earlier this month with the first three home at Huntingdon - Riverside Theatre, Champion Court and Captain Chris - also in line to take their chance at Kempton.
A fascinating entry is completed by Captain Chris' stablemate Menorah and Irish raiders Mount Benbulben and Prince de Beauchene.
