The Celebration Chase winner gave away lumps of weight on his seasonal reappearance at Chepstow on Saturday but did not come off the bridle in winning unchallenged.
Having returned in good shape, Moore now can test the water early with his stable star.
"He's very good this morning and you'd have to be impressed with how he did it, if you weren't impressed with that you never will be," said Moore.
"It was his first run of the season and while he loved the ground more than the others, he was giving away lots of weight.
"He must have improved over the summer looking at that and he made decent horses look ordinary.
"We'll head to Cheltenham now. Now we know what level he's at his season is already mapped out.
"After the Shloer it will probably be the Tingle Creek, the Queen Mother and back for the Celebration."
