Course officials are on snow alert in light of an unsettled forecast on Town Moor.
Clerk of the course Roderick Duncan had been due to inspect at noon today, but that has now been put back until the morning.
He said: "We will have a first look at 6am tomorrow as there is still some snow in the forecast.
"If it is looking unlikely we will be able to race at 6am, we can let people know and stop them travelling.
"The forecast hasn't been quite spot-on, though, so we will have to see what happens."
An inspection has also been called for 7am for the jumps meeting at Newbury, with heavy rain having already turned the going heavy and further rain is forecast to arrive overnight.
