Rock On Ruby won't take soft option
Rock On Ruby could go straight to the Stan James Champion Hurdle if the ground remains on the soft side between now and the Festival.

Last year's Champion Hurdle winner has run once this season, when finishing behind Zarkandar and Grandouet in the International at Cheltenham in December, but is unlikely to run again before he attempts to retain his crown if the ground doesn't dry out.
His trainer Harry Fry told At The Races: "He holds an entry this Saturday in the Contenders Hurdle at Sandown, but I must stress at this stage he'd be very doubtful what with the ground heavy, soft in places.
"We could go to Wincanton on the 15th, a fortnight on Saturday and again it would be very much ground dependent.
"We've said that all season and we had to start somewhere which we did at Cheltenham in the International, the more we look back on that race the more positives we take from it.
"But I'd be very reluctant to run on that sort of ground between now and the big day in March. He could have a racecourse gallop on the all-weather somewhere."
