His Gloucestershire handler is now hoping for better ground for his next appearance and though he has options, preference at this stage is for the Sky Bet Chase on Town Moor.

"He should get three miles fine on decent ground and I would like to go there.

"After that he's likely to head to the Ryanair."
A high-class entry for the Sky Bet Chase sees Alan King's Walkon as a possible rival to Champion Court, along with Venetia Williams' Katenko, Paul Nicholls' Rolling Aces, Jonjo O'Neill's Mister Hyde and Malcolm Jefferson's Cape Tribulation.
