The RSA Chase winner starts life as a second-season chaser off a handicap mark of 160 and while Henderson doesn't think his charge is well-handicapped, he does hope he will take his chance despite the weather.
The Seven Barrows handler told Racing UK: "We're going to have a look at Newbury tomorrow, I'm sure they're doing everything they can.
"I'd like to get a run into him [Bobs Worth] this weekend, things have been geared towards that but plans are changing left, right and centre at the moment.
"It was always where we were going to start, he stays, I think he handles soft ground.
"I'm not worried about his handicap mark as he's not going to go up sitting in his box, I don't think he's particularly well handicapped anyway.
"We do have a preference to go left-handed so Newbury was the obvious way to go."
Bobs Worth is the 3/1 favourite for the race with Sky Bet.
