Trainer Marco Botti wants to keep the Cape Cross colt to six furlongs for his final run of the season at Newmarket on October 13.
Botti is convinced Moohaajim will stay a mile next year and has high hopes he can develop into a serious contender for the Qipco 2000 Guineas.
"He's come out of the race really well. He ate up overnight and is bouncing today," said the Newmarket-based handler.
"If all goes well the obvious target would be the Middle Park. He's also in the Dewhurst Stakes but I don't think we'll step him up in trip yet.
"I'm pretty sure he'll get seven furlongs and in the future he will probably be a miler, but we are in no hurry to step him up.
"The Middle Park is over a stiff six furlongs and that will be his last race of the year. He showed plenty of speed but at the same time he is not just a sprinter. Adam (Kirby) said he relaxed in behind horses yesterday and never really pulled.
"Once he had the gap he just asked him and he quickened nicely. The advantage horses like him have when they have that turn of foot is that they can relax and it shouldn't be a problem for him stepping up to a mile."
Moohaajim is a 20-1 chance for the QIPCO 2000 Guineas with Sky Bet.
