Ludlow Racecourse

A right handed National Hunt track of a mile and a half in circumference. A fair track with average sized fences and a good drainage system so the going is rarely on the testing side. The emphasis is on speed rather than stamina.

This picturesque course is situated in the Shropshire countryside attracting the local farming community giving a relaxed rural atmosphere. The Charity meeting in April along with the Prince and Princess of Wales Handicap Chase day in November provide the highlights in the racing calendar. Golf enthusiasts are catered for with a nine-hole golf course in the middle of the track.
