A left-handed, rectangular, level track with sweeping bends, measuring one mile and six furlongs. The six-furlong straight galloping course is situated on a chute adjoining the round course. The track is suited to the long striding individual and there is a stiff uphill run-in of two-and-three-quarter furlongs. High numbers are favoured in races over five and six furlongs, while low numbers hold the advantage in races over seven furlongs and a mile.There are seven hurdles and 10 fences on the National Hunt course. The Dublin venue attracts horses of the highest calibre both on the Flat and over jumps.
