Mike Smith (jockey, Zenyatta, 1st) - "She's just amazing. As soon as we got away in good order, I knew it was good. I knew (her run) was there any time I asked her.

"I've never seen a horse go past other horses like this filly can. She sets herself up to come to them, and she just blazes by them. That was a field of world-class fillies. I've been on other horses that have speed and can pass other horses, but none like her. I don't know if she has a bottom."

John Shirreffs (trainer, Zenyatta, 1st) - "Winning a Breeders' Cup race with a filly like this is just an amazing experience. You watch these races, but to actually be a participant is fantastic. And then to win with a filly like this, the feeling I have right now is something that's hard to put into words. I don't even think I can tell you what I was thinking as I watched the race. I don't know if I can explain how I feel. Isn't she great?"

Ramon Dominguez (jockey, Cocoa Beach, 2nd) - "I was just second best today. I was real proud of the way she ran. I felt the winner moving on the outside. I knew she was going to be circling horses. I just tried to save ground and give my horse her best shot, but she was just second best."

Javier Castellano (jockey, Music Note, 3rd) - "I had the perfect trip - right where I wanted to be. I was following horses all the way around and happy with my spot. At the quarter pole, I wanted to get the jump and I did. But then I saw the big filly go by. She just went. She was much the best today. My filly ran great, but we got beat."

Saeed bin Suroor (trainer, Cocoa Beach, 2nd and Music Note, 3rd) - "We're happy with how they ran. That is a star filly they ran behind. It's hard to beat a horse like that. They both ran very well."

Kent Desormeaux (jockey, Carriage Trail, 4th) - "I had a fine trip. But that big mare; by the time I picked her up, she was eight (lengths) by me. She was there and then she wasn't."

Shug McGaughey III (trainer, Carriage Trail, 4th) - "I think my horse might have been a little over the top. She ran her race at Keeneland, but she didn't run it today. The winner is pretty good and was very impressive today."

Garrett Gomez (jockey, Hystericalady, 5th) - "She is just not quite the same on it (an artificial surface). It is just a shame really, because she showed her brilliance for me earlier in the year and I was really happy with what I felt. When I worked her the other day, I told him (trainer Jerry Hollendorfer) that she is probably not the same on this (surface) as she is on the other stuff. She is just not as aggressive and kind of waits on you to tell her what to do. I think she just doesn't like it too much."

Jerry Hollendorfer (trainer, Hystericalady, 5th) - "We gave it our best effort and couldn't do it."

Rafael Bejarano (jockey, Ginger Punch, 6th) - "She didn't like the track at all. She, herself, feels fine. There's nothing wrong with her. But she must have changed leads four or five times down the backstretch. She had her head cocked like she wanted to go to the outside and was just very uncomfortable. It seemed like she was jumping. She didn't show me anything."

Michael Baze (jockey, Santa Teresita, 7th) - "I had her in a good spot. This is just a real tough bunch of horses. They went pretty easy the first part (of the race). She was trying to hang in."

Eurico Da Silva (jockey, Bear Now, 8th) - "I made the lead and my filly relaxed. She was running comfortably. They just passed me by. She gave me what she had. We're happy with the effort. She ran hard against the best horse out there. The most important thing is that the horse came back healthy."
