Defending champion Phil Taylor has been grouped with Vincent van der Voort, Andy Jenkins and Phill Nixon in the group stage of the PartyPoker.com Grand Slam of Darts.

Taylor goes into the event - at the Wolverhampton Civic from November 15-23 - on the back of his victory in the inaugural European Championship and will fancy his chances of progressing as one of the two qualifiers from Group A.

Adrian Lewis, his opponent in the final in Frankfurt is in a tough-looking Group G with third seed James Wade, Denis Ovens and Niels de Ruiter while Raymond van Barneveld - seeded two - meets Robert Thornton, Gary Mawson and surprise World Championship finalist Kirk Shepherd.

Lakeside champions Anastasia Dobromyslova and Mark Webster are among the competitors in the 'cross-code' event, with the former making her debut in the event alongside PDC men's champion John Part, Wayne Mardle and Kevin McDine and the latter drawn with Mervyn King, Michael van Gerwen and Colin McGarry.
