More than 100,000 people have signed up to be volunteers at the 2012 Olympics and Paralympics in London, organisers have announced.
A brother and sister, Yousef and Leila Ziu, from Cricklewood in London became the 100,000th potential volunteers to register their interest.
London 2012 chairman Sebastian Coe said: "Volunteers are the lifeblood of the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games.
"I urge anyone who wants to be part of the best Games ever to get out into their communities and make volunteering a part of their lives now.''
Volunteers will be selected according to their individual skills and volunteering experience.
They will be used to assist at venues, as drivers, stewards, for first aid and working with IT and translation.
