Bolt dipped below 10secs for the first time this summer at the Kamila Skolimowska Memorial.

His time was also an unofficial world best for an indoor 100m.

Bolt was forced to delay the start of his season because of a foot injury and his first competition came at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow where he anchored Jamaica to 4x100m relay gold.

His first individual 100m of 2014 was the 'Mano a Mano' on the Copacabana in Rio de Janeiro where he clocked 10.06s.

The world's fastest man is next due to compete at the Weltklasse Diamond League meeting in Zurich, where he will be up against Great Britain's newly-crowned European champions Adam Gemili and James Dasaolu.
