Impressive Imps Make Cup Appeal

2pts Lincoln to beat Mansfield at 11/4 (bet365, BetVictor, Boylesports).
The FA Cup replay with the biggest carrot at the end of it is Mansfield v Lincoln and that is where my midweek selection comes from.
The two Conference rivals have to meet again after Mansfield struck in the third minute of stoppage time to secure a 3-3 draw in the initial meeting at Sincil Bank.
That was obviously a big blow to Lincoln but there has been plenty of time to recover and the reward of a bumper third-round tie at home to Liverpool provides all the motivation needed.
The Imps prepared for the game with a 4-2 win at Dartford on Saturday and boss David Holdsworth made eight changes to help keep some of his key players fresh.
Holdsworth admitted after the success in Kent that it has been tough to prepare for Wednesday night's clash with the need to go in "fully loaded" at Field Mill.
"We've got to protect the club," he told BBC Radio Lincolnshire.
"We've got to go fully loaded into the next game, which I think has grasped a lot of people. Managing that is quite tough.
"We've been focused and I'm delighted with the performance."
Lincoln are on a great run of form on the road with only one defeat in seven away games and there have been some hugely impressive results during the sequence.
League One Walsall were dispatched after extra time in the first round of the FA Cup and a very tricky replay at Conference North promotion contenders FC Halifax was negotiated with a 2-0 win in the fourth qualifying round.
Wrexham, who sit second in the Conference, were hit by a 4-2 Lincoln success at the Racecourse and the victories against Dartford and Barrow were also noteworthy accomplishments.
Mansfield sit alongside the Imps on the edge of the Conference play-off race but they aren't for me in this contest.
The Stags could well make a late push for promotion but the very disappointing FA Trophy defeat against Matlock a couple of weeks ago proves they can't be trusted.
Lincoln are the tip to face Liverpool next and 11/4 for the win inside 90 minutes is well worth taking.
