The opening day of Cheltenham's Open Meeting saw a winning chasing debut for David Pipe's Dynaste and his odds have tumbled for the RSA Chase at the Cheltenham Festival in March.

Dynaste: Odds cut for the RSA Chase

The 6yo showed a nice turn of foot to pick up Fingal Bay at the last fence under Tom Scudamore and the winner's odds have been trimmed from 14/1 down to 8/1 by Sky Bet, Ladbrokes and Betfred.

He is as low as 5/1 with Stan James while the runner-up is now a 12/1 chance with Sky Bet, Hills and Ladbrokes.

The Paul Nicholls-trained Dodging Bullets made it two out of two for the campaign and he is now a best price of 16/1 for the 2013 Supreme Novices' Hurdle at the Festival with Hills.

Ruby Walsh made all on the four-year-old as they fended off all challengers to land the Grade 2 contest at Prestbury Park.

Nicholls hinted afterwards that his next stop could potentially be the Christmas Hurdle at Kempton before dropping back to novice company next March.
