Sebastian Vettel is 1/4 to win the title for a third successive year after a superb effort, helped by the deployment of the safety car, to come from last to third during the race.
The German was forced to start at the back of the grid due to a breach of the fuel rules on Saturday but he steered his Red Bull through the field to finish second behind winner Kimi Raikkonen and title rival Fernando Alonso.
It meant he lost just three points in the championship to Alonso and with two races remaining the gap between the pair is now 10. With a maximum of 50 points now up for grabs, no-one else can win.
Vettel is a general 1/4 shot with Alonso 7/2 with Betfred and Ladbrokes.
Coral's David Stevens, whose firm cut Alonso despite Vettel's heroics, said: "Sebastian Vettel's late pass of Jenson Button to secure the final podium slot kept the German in command of the title race, but with two races to go, Fernando Alonso has kept his hopes alive, and with Vettel a significant loser in our outright book, we'll be cheering the Spaniard on."
Vettel was as big as 15/2 as recently as September but he won four races in a row prior to his third place in Abu Dhabi.
The next race takes place in the United States on November 18 with the final grand prix of the season being in Brazil a week later.
BetVictor make Vettel their early 6/4 favourite to win the US Grand Prix with Lewis Hamilton, the pre-race favourite in Abu Dhabi who failed to finish due to a mechnical problem, offered at 9/4.
