Sebastian Vettel has been cut to 3/10 by sportingbet for the Formula One drivers' championship after his victory in the Korean Grand Prix.

Sebastian Vettel celebrates Korean Grand Prix success.

The Red Bull driver got the jump on team-mate Mark Webber from second on the grid and was able to ease away to his third win in a row and go six points clear of Fernando Alonso, despite concerns his right-front tyre would wear out in the closing laps.

Webber was a solid second as Red Bull became the first team to secure a one-two finish in 2012, with Alonso getting the maximum out of his Ferrari with third place.

Alonso's odds for the championship have now drifted out to 3/1 with bet365 and William Hill.

Lewis Hamilton could only finish 10th after suffering with tyre degradation and fell 62 points behind Vettel with just 100 points up for grabs from the final four races.

The McLaren man is out at 100/1 to finish the season on top with Kimi Raikkonen, who is 14 points better off than Hamilton, available at the same price.

Steve Freeth of bet365 said: "Three convincing wins in his last three races and Vettel is clearly in great form, unfortunately the same can't be said about Lewis Hamilton at the moment."

Red Bull are 1/33 favourites with Ladbrokes for the constructors' championship after Vettel and Webber's one-two extended their lead to 77 points.

Ferrari jumped above McLaren into second but the bookies have them as the third favourites to claim the spoils.

The Maranello team can be backed at 100/1 with bet365 to overhaul Red Bull's advantage with McLaren, who are six points behind Ferrari, now available at 18/1.
