Paul Tisdale: Back his Exeter to win at Northampton

2pts Exeter to beat Northampton at 15/8 (Coral).

Exeter to win at Northampton is this weekend's League Two tip.

The Grecians have started the campaign with a record of four wins and one defeat on their travels in the fourth tier but it hasn't been so good for them at home.

Exeter have lost their last two games at St James Park and manager Paul Tisdale isn't quite so sure why his men have struggled to transfer their away displays to Devon.

"I need to look at it closely," he told the Western Daily Mail.

"It's not a fluke, it can't be. Home and away games are different and it seems we have the right blend for away games but, at home, I haven't found out a way to make us effective.

"The players really care and work really hard, they all put themselves about and want to do well and want to play for each other and there are a lot of good things within the team, a lot of substance to make us a good team away from home.

"I have to find a way that makes us more effective at home, and it's as simple as that."

The very good news for this tip is that the game takes place at Northampton's Sixfields.

The Cobblers won in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy on Tuesday night but they are without a victory in four league games and have quite a few injury problems to boot.

Northampton will get back on track but I don't think it will be on Saturday so the advice is to get with Exeter.
