Dempsey 9/4 for Debut Goal
It was another hectic transfer deadline day as expected and one of the last deals to be completed was Clint Dempsey's move from Fulham to Tottenham.
The USA international had been odds-on for much of the day to head to Liverpool but Spurs swooped at the 11th hour to land him and Sky Bet make him a 9/4 chance to score on his debut under Andre Villas-Boas.
Fulham did manage to land a big name themselves after they secured the services of Dimitar Berbatov from Manchester United and the Bulgarian is a 7/4 chance at Sky Bet to score on his debut for the Cottagers.
Joey Barton has left QPR for Marseille where he will try and shake-off his bad-boy image - however, Sky Bet price him up at 20/1 to see red in his opening game for the French outfit.
After Chelsea's 4-1 humbling in Monaco, William Hill have cut the price of Roberto Di Matteo being the first Premier League manager to lose his job from 25/1 to 16/1.
Hills are also offering 6/1 that Pep Guardiola is in charge of Chelsea before the end of the season.
"If the performance against Atletico is a sign of things to come in Europe, Di Matteo will be given the elbow sooner rather than later," said Hill's spokesman Joe Crilly.
Chelsea are 12/1 to win this season's Champions League.
