The Golden State Warriors edged out the Los Angeles Clippers 100-99 to force a decisive game seven in their first-round play-off series.

Stephen Curry led the way with 24 points and nine assists, but the game was not safe until the buzzer sounded with the Clippers missing three consecutive shots until Matt Barnes' late three-pointer with 1.1 seconds left.

Barnes finished with 18 points and 11 rebounds for Los Angeles, with Blake Griffin adding 17 points and nine boards before he fouled out.

Los Angeles, who have endured a testing week on and off the court after team owner Donald Sterling earned a lifetime ban from the NBA for racist remarks, now face a series decider on their home court on Saturday night.

The Oklahoma City Thunder and Indiana Pacers also forced series deciders with victories on Thursday night.

Kevin Durant ended a slump by pouring in 36 points as the Thunder routed the Memphis Grizzlies 104-84 to make it 3-3 in their series, with Russell Westbrook adding 25 points.

The Pacers, top seeded after a superb regular season, kept their campaign alive as a 16-4 run to end the game saw them come from behind to beat the Atlanta Hawks 95-88.
