Our Going For Goals team are back with a both-teams-to-score treble covering the English leagues.

Reading v Aston Villa (BC)

With plenty at stake, one might expect a cagey affair between two relegation rivals, but quite simply neither looks capable of keeping things tight.

Reading have failed to keep a clean sheet in 2013 and both teams have scored in seven of their last eight Premier League games, including last time out at Goodison Park.

Villa meanwhile were unfortunate not to find the net against Manchester City, a game which ended a run of five in which both teams had scored.

Peterborough v Ipswich (CH)

We mentioned last week that Ipswich games aren't exactly Going for Goals material but I firmly believe Saturday's visit to fellow strugglers Peterborough will finally buck the trend.

Town's last seven games would have lost this bet while only 10 goals have been scored in that run but the clash at London Road promises to be quite an attacking affair with both sides desperate for victory in the battle for survival.

By contrast, Posh matches tend to be quite reliable for goals anyway and Darren Ferguson's men head into this fixture on the back of a 3-2 win at Blackburn and a 2-2 home draw with Charlton.

Port Vale v Southend (NH)

The clash between Port Vale and Southend provides this weekend's League Two selection.

Vale sit second - two points behind leaders Gillingham - but the pressure is slightly on after three games without a win so expect a few nerves.

Southend will fancy their chances of a surprise as they look to cut the gap to the play-off places and they have been Going For Goals winners in six of their previous seven matches.
