Leon Taylor of Britain has qualified for tonight's semi-final of the men's 10m platform diving after posting the 16th best score (399.90) in the preliminary round at the Sydney Olympics.

Peter Waterfield was not as fortunate. The Brit could only manage 317.31, leaving him with a ranking of 33 - far outside the 18 qualifying spots.
