BRITS SEVENTH IN FINAL

Mark Shipman and Tony Ally scored 296.64 in the final of the men's
synchronized 3m springboard on Thursday, good enough for seventh place.
The British pair were 68.94 points behind gold medallists Ni Xiong and
Hailiang Xiao of China (365.58).
Russians Dmitri Saoutine and Alexandre Dobroskok (329.97) took the silver and
Dean Pullar and Robert Newberry (322.86) grabbed bronze for Australia.
