The British pair were 68.94 points behind gold medallists Ni Xiong and Hailiang Xiao of China (365.58).

Russians Dmitri Saoutine and Alexandre Dobroskok (329.97) took the silver and Dean Pullar and Robert Newberry (322.86) grabbed bronze for Australia.
