Oscar Swahn - struck gold at 73 (Allsport).
1920 - Antwerp
The 1920 Games were awarded to Antwerp, Belgium, as compensation for
all the grief that had been inflicted on the Belgians during the war.
The losers of World War I, Austria, Bulgaria, Germany, Hungary, and
Turkey were not allowed to participate.
With little money available
to run the Games, the 1920 Olympics were not very impressive and were
not well documented.
An Official Report does not exist for 1920 - only a typed manuscript containing an incomplete listing of the
results.
