BRITS OUT OF INDIVIDUAL DRESSAGE
Britain failed to place a rider into the final round of the individual
dressage at the Sydney Olympics today as Anky van Grunsven on Bonfire led
Holland's charge for gold.
The Dutch entry lead the competition with 153.13 ahead of Germany's 1996
Olympic champion Isabell Werth (151.99) and her team-mate Nadine Capellmann, a
close third on 151.28.
Emile Faurie of Britain on Rascher Hopes scored 65.58% for an overall
percentage of 132.54 - not good enough to qualify.
