Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Terry Glenn is set to play his first game of the season this weekend.
The 33-year-old veteran practised with the first team on Wednesday and is expected to see at least limited action when the Cowboys visit the Washington Redskins on Sunday in the regular-season finale for both teams.
Glenn, who underwent an arthroscopic procedure to remove damaged cartilage from his right knee in September, caught 70 passes for 1,047 yards and six touchdowns with the Cowboys a year ago.
"I think it's only a positive if we do (have Glenn healthy and in the line-up)," Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo said.
"Terry Glenn is obviously a veteran and he's played in play-off games, the Super Bowl.
"I don't doubt that he can come in at just about any time. And if there's one guy I feel like could, it's probably Terry Glenn."
Glenn would add depth to a receiving corps without leading receiver Terrell Owens (ankle) against the Redskins, who can clinch the remaining NFC wildcard spot with a victory.
The Cowboys, who are guaranteed to be top seeds in the NFC play-offs regardless of Sunday's outcome, are hopeful both Glenn and Owens will be ready for the divisional round of the play-offs.
"(Glenn) did everything (in Wednesday's practice) - ran all the routes that we called and so forth," Cowboys coach Wade Phillips said.
"He may have been a little rusty timing-wise, but as far as movement goes he looked fine."
