Josh McDaniels has extended his New England old boys connections in Denver after signing veteran defensive back Ty Law for the Broncos.

McDaniels saw his Broncos beaten for the first time last week in Baltimore and next up they face the reigning Super Bowl champions Pittsburgh on Monday night.

To bolster his secondary, McDaniels has added another veteran to the ranks with 35-year-old Law agreeing on terms of a deal with the Broncos.

The move will be completed once Law completes his physical and he could even join practice ahead of the Steelers game.

A five-time Pro Bowler, Law brings even more experience to the Broncos bunch of defensive backs which includes the likes of Champ Bailey, Brian Dawkins and Renaldo Hill.

A first round pick for the Patriots in 1995, Law has three Super Bowl rings to his name and joins the growing list of ex-New England players to join ex-Pats assistant McDaniels.

Law played in New England for a decade before signing with the New York Jets in 2005. He then moved to Kansas City where he started for two years.

A return to the Jets last year saw Law play six of their last seven games, and now he joins the Broncos hoping to add to his 52 career interceptions and help the 6-1 Broncos bounce back from their first defeat of the season last week.
