The eight-time Pro Bowler pulled up towards the end of the Bears' overtime defeat to the Seattle Seahawks at Soldier Field on Sunday.

Speaking to FOX Chicago, the 34-year-old said that doctors have told him he will miss "two to four weeks" of action.

Urlacher has been with Chicago for each one of his 13 seasons in the NFL and, as he is in the final year of his contract, could have played his last game for the team if they fail to reach the play-offs.

"I do not think that's going to happen. But, if it does, I have had a really good and long career so I would be sad, but I would not be crushed," he added of his future.
