Mark Wilson carded a two-under-par 68 in the final round of the Mayakoba Golf Classic to claim his second PGA Tour title.
Entering the day tied with a one-shot lead, Wilson finished at 13-under 267, two strokes ahead of JJ Henry who signed for two under 68 to finish 11 under 269 overall.
Kevin Streelman climbed up to third with a 64 and joined Heath Slocum (67) at 10-under 270.
Bo Van Pelt had a rough day and ended up tied for 28th at two under. Van Pelt entered the day tied for the lead with Wilson but he stumbled to a 79 to finish well back.
Wilson birdied the second and the third to get off to a good start and he closed the front nine with his third birdie of the day.
After adding his final birdie of the day at the 12th, Wilson had a pair of bogeys on his final six holes, dropping shots at the 14th and 16th.
"The golf course played different today," Wilson said.
"The rest of the week we had east-southeast winds. Today we had northwest winds. So some of the holes early where I was hitting driver five iron, I was hitting driver and a wedge or three wood and nine iron."
Henry was unable to take advantage of Wilson's late slip as he bogeyed 16 and 17 and Streelman closed what otherwise was a stellar round with a bogey at 18.
"For me it was a great week," Henry said. "I'm a little disappointed I had a chance to win. That's how you play. You give yourself a chance and next year maybe I'll come out on top."
