John Rollins birdied the final hole to cap a sizzling eight-under-par 64 to win the BC Open in New York.
The birdie saw Rollins finish on 19 under at 269 and avoid a play-off with Bob May to earn a two-year PGA Tour exemption and claim his first Tour victory since the 2002 Canadian Open.
Gabriel Hjertstedt, the 1997 champion who began the day with a one-shot lead, stumbled to a 71 to finish in joint-sixth - four shots off the pace.
Rollins began the day three strokes off the lead but played bogey-free golf at the Turning Stone Resort's Atunyote Course and had three-birdie runs on both the front and back nine.
May drained a birdie at the final hole to cap his own 64 that included an eagle at the par-five 12th hole and move into a tie for the lead with Rollins.
Undaunted, Rollins nearly reached the green of the 598-yard par-five 18th hole in two and two-putted from the fringe to claim his second career win.
Shigeki Maruyama shot a 65 and finished third at 16 under 272. He was one shot better than David Branshaw (69) and Omar Urestiv (64).
