KJ Choi and Shigeki Maruyama created history at the Chrysler Classic of
Greensboro by finishing first and second.
Choi, of South Korea, and Japan's Maruyama became the first Asian-born players
to place 1-2 at a PGA Tour event.
On another day of low scoring at vulnerable Forest Oaks, Choi birdied the
first four holes to take a lead he never surrendered on his way to a two-stroke
victory over Maruyama.
Choi was not perfect, three-putting twice, but they were his only bogeys as he
carded a six-under-par 66 to finish at 22 under on 266.
Maruyama birdied the last hole from a greenside bunker for a 67 and a 20-under
total of 268 - three clear of Charles Warren, Brandt Jobe and Jason Bohn.
DJ Trahan, who began the day tied with Choi for the lead, shot a miserable
three-over 75 to finish tied for 13th - nine strokes off the pace.
England's Justine Rose closed with a 71 for a share of sixth.
