Tim Petrovic claimed his first victory on the PGA Tour when winning the Zurich
Classic of New Orleans at the first play-off hole.
Petrovic drilled home a 20-foot birdie putt at the 18th in regulation, then
rolled in a four-footer for par in the sudden death decider to defeat James
Driscoll.
Masters runner-up Chris DiMarco, who is developing a reputation for missing
out in the final round, bogeyed the par-five last hole and missed the play-off.
Driscoll was tied for the lead after regulation at 13 under par 275 but
three-putted from 30 feet on the first extra hole and had to settle for second.
DiMarco finished tied for third place with Lucas Glover, one stroke off
Petrovic and Driscoll.
Ireland's Padraig Harrington closed with a 71 to finish in joint-ninth on
eight under while England's Justin Rose moved up into a share of 17th on six
under after a 69.
