Tom Pernice Jr claimed his second career title with a one-point victory in The
International at Castle Pines Golf Club in Colorado.
Pernice maintained his lead from the second round to finish with 34 points.
Chris Riley came in second place with 33 under the modified Stableford scoring
system.
Players are awarded five points for an eagle, two points for a birdie, none
for par. They are deducted one point for a bogey and three for a double bogey.
Vijay Singh tied with Chris DiMarco and defending champion Ernie Els on 32
points, two ahead of Brett Quigley and Brad Faxon.
The 41-year-old Pernice, whose only previous win was the 1999 Buick Open,
pocketed £504,000 for the victory.
